About us
The Pretty Parlour was born in August 2018 in Maulden, Bedfordshire as a Mother-Daughter duo.
Sheila, an Ex-army Lorry Driver, City of London Road Safety employee, daughter, wife, sister, cousin, friend to many including her Parlour Clients and my special Mum.
Dana, I am the Owner of The Pretty Parlour that began in Maulden and grew to Ampthill in 2026 offering Professional Beauty Treatments to our lovely returning clients, welcoming new clients and offering new services to give to you.

A tribute to Sheila Moules
Sadly, my Mum passed away in August 2024 at the age of 54. She battled with cancer my entire life on and off, but the 6 years prior to her passing were the hardest times of her battle. Many people were not aware of Mum's illness as she wanted to keep it private at the time to avoid the subject being about her because she was such a selfless soul.
She continued to work very closely up to the dreaded day which I admire her for.
Mum was a very happy, funny, clever, busy (never sit down type of person) who loved her family and friends with all of her heart. She would've given her last penny to them.
I truly wish that me and Mum could've continued The Parlour as a team so that she could enjoy the growth of the business too, but we hold on tight to her memory in the hope that her life still shines through The Parlour.
Mum is my inspiration to carry on, work hard and achieve.
